Thanks for this thoughtful and provocative article Jack. You have highlighted the unique strengths of fathers. Emphasising the importance of male caregiving is a valuable contribution to a broader conversation that too often overlooks men's positive role.
Excellent Jack! So well said. The actual fears of women of "Fatherpower" are not allowed to be discussed. Thanks for bringing this up. I would also add that "firmth" is a mix of firmness, warmth, and truth! That is what father's bring!
Women have been asking men to be equal caregivers for decades. This is not something that women are afraid of. And firmth is not something only men do.
But why does it never go away? Why does the pendulum never swing back?
The female to male (mostly white american) hate just seems to amplify with time.
Even though the female side has made gains and has been more successful that could have ever been imagined. Maleness has largely been destroyed, so why does the stomping continue?
Are there larger world forces at play? Is there more money to be made supporting women than men?
Hi, Roy. Good questions. There are, of course, multiple reasons, but the antimale sentiment only increases because our temerity in seeking equality — especially in the realm of relationships, especially in the realm of parenting — is showing no signs of abating. Scary for them. We’re demanding the keys to their castle, and the trove of gold — literal and figurative — stashed within.

No thanks, I'm not really interested in banging my head against your cement wall.
And I know what your are going to say anyway... its exactly the same thing all of the brainwashed zombies say as they walk it lockstep, and its been repeated over and over since the 1970s.

I like Charles the Childraiser as the complement to Rosie the Riveter!

Maleness has been destroyed? That's quite a claim.
Are you really confused why women aren't too pleased with men? Do I need to list the reasons out?

Ignore her. Her purpose is to waste your time and energy.
Lol, says the man who claims that maleness has been destroyed.
